About Road Rakshak Foundation
Road Rakshak was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to make our roads safer for every citizen. Every day, thousands of people travel on roads that are damaged, neglected, or filled with potholes, putting lives at risk and causing accidents that could otherwise be prevented.
The idea behind Road Rakshak was born from a deep concern for public safety and a belief that every individual deserves access to safe and well-maintained roads. Seeing the growing number of accidents, vehicle damage, and hardships caused by poor road conditions inspired us to take action rather than wait for change.

Nashik - Gangapur Road
Repeat Accidents at a Single Pothole
A 3-ft wide pothole near Gangapur Road had caused 4 documented accidents over two weeks. After a citizen complaint was filed with Road Rakshak, our team mobilised within 24 hours, repaired the hazard, and filed a formal complaint with the municipal corporation for permanent resurfacing.

School Zone Hazard Escalated
A stretch of broken road surface near a school was putting students and parents at daily risk. Road Rakshak documented the hazard, engaged local media, and escalated to the municipal authority — resulting in official repair within 10 days of our complaint.
